This hat was created by Princess Jordyn. A flat pattern original creation. This pastel pink beauty was laced by hand and detailed to perfection. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness the hat also has the Breast Cancer Ribbon Insignia, adorned with a pastel rose pin. All Princess Jordyn Hats are handcrafted as an individual work of art. Visit us at www.princessjordyn.net. This is our first auction, and we are looking forward to working with Hats For Hope in the near future. |

This hat was donated by Annie deVuono. Each of deVuono’s hats is impeccably and individually constructed. In remaining true to the established and time-honored tradition of making millinery, each piece is created and stitched completely by hand. From cutting, dying and blocking, to making each leaf and petal, every detail and decoration is born in her Seattle studio. Whether ordering directly for something unique or wholesale for your shop, you can be assured that the attention to detail is unsurpassed. You may reach her at annie@devuonohats.com Annie’s website is www.devuonohats.com |

This is the fourth year that the KY Floral Association (KFA)has included Hats for Hope in their annual convention which is held each January. Michael and Pam Gaddie, owners of Lloyd’s Florist, originated this tradition when they were Convention Chairman and President of KFA. During the convention, there is a competition for the People’s Choice Award where attendees design and decorate hats which are then donated to the Hats for Hope auction. We received thirty hats this year. Michael’s mother is a breast cancer survivor, and the Hats for Hope event is very near and dear to his heart. Lloyd’s also provides gorgeous floral decorations for the event and is available at all times for anything they can help with. They have been donors since our first event in 2004 and received our first Hats for Hope Hero award. These are some of the hats received this year. Thank you Pam and Michael Gaddie, Dawn and Bobby Eldridge, Beth Burnette, and members of KFA. |

Maria Curcic of Le Chapeau Rouge Millinery designed these beauties. Maria was born in Paris, France. Her pursuit of design led her to millinery where she apprenticed in Paris. Upon moving to Canada, she opened her boutique "Le Chapeau Rouge" in 1994. She wears her own designs and will not show something she would never wear. Maria's hat was chosen to be part of the display at the Kentucky Derby Museum. For more information, go to www.lechapeaurouge.ca |

This is one of eight hats that Karen Hawk of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL donated. It is a brown & ecru London Designer Collection hat with wide ecru band & white swirl clusters with brown feathers. Karen has supported Hats for Hope in various ways over the years. Thank you Karen! |
Several local hotels have supported us the last couple of years in various ways. One unique way is by advertising and collecting Derby hats, the day after Derby, from those who do not want to travel with them. These are some of those beautiful hats. We appreciate that these hotels are willing to do this. They are: Louisville Marriott Downtown, Galt House, Brown Hotel, Seelbach, Embassy Suites Hurstbourne Lane, Hilton Garden Inn at Crittenden Drive, Horseshoe Hotel & Casino, Hyatt Regancy at Jefferson Street, Spring Hill Suites, & Louisville Marriott East. We also appreciate the donors who would rather donate to a good cause than take their hats home with them. THANK YOU! If you are local, feel free to drop by and donate your hat. We will have a Hats for Hope representative at each hotel.
